Make UNI Choirs part of your story.

Fall 2020

UNI Choirs is committed to providing outstanding opportunities for our students to sing and build community throughout this academic year. Student safety is our top priority and all choirs are adapting in innovative ways. You are invited to join a chorus and find your home within UNI Choirs.

UNI Choirs can provide in-person, group singing for all interested students under current UNI, Blackhawk County, and CDC guidelines. Students will rehearse in small, socially-distanced groups and will wear masks. In addition, we have secured alternate rehearsal spaces that will further ensure student safety. While we are unable to have our large concerts, we will be able to provide family and friends with recordings of our work throughout the semester. As the academic year progresses, UNI Choirs will continue to adapt and innovate based on recommendations and research from health organizations.

Reimagining the collegiate choral experience has been challenging, yet exciting for the choral faculty. We are looking forward to trying new things, exploring new aspects of the choral art, and making music together again. We hope you will join the tradition of UNI Choirs.
